Life and business are moving onchain. What made them workable offline has to survive the move.
We build the cryptography that lets those qualities persist: transacting without publishing your records, proving identity without handing it over, agreeing prices without competitors reading them. Privacy that is configurable rather than absolute, so you decide what stays hidden and what stays provable.
The research worked. What was missing was the link between a prototype that holds up in a paper and a system that runs at global scale, under load, for people who never think about cryptography. We started TACEO to build that link. The timing was right: the techniques had matured enough to carry production traffic, and the ZK wave in blockchain had made the need legible to people outside the field.
We co-designed the Poseidon hash function, now a cornerstone of zero-knowledge systems. Then we made MPC fast enough to run at global scale, and built the largest MPC compute network in production.
TACEO GmbH. 22 people, headquartered in Vienna, heartquartered in Graz.
Identity came first, because that is where the need was sharpest and where scale arrived earliest. Finance followed. Agents are arriving now, with the same problem in a place nobody has solved it yet.
